As a Copywriter for ResourceiT, you will take responsibility for producing a wide range of written materials for both our clients and us. You will have a firm grasp of the written word, with a flair for creating engaging and interesting content that cuts through the noise.

  • Creatively minded. A successful Copywriter is someone who can ask questions, listen carefully to answers and come up with ideas and insights for marketing projects that meet client’s needs.
  • Able to think on your feet and have the confidence to make bold recommendations and decisions about what may be necessary to ensure results are delivered and wherever possible exceeded (sometimes we need to change direction and be confident in how that is positioned to clients).
  • Organised and capable of multitasking. Our Copywriters spin many plates and can easily switch from project to project quickly and seamlessly, always with an eye on the detail.
  • Entirely comfortable with having commercial conversations at a Senior level, both internally and externally.

Here’s an idea of the responsibilities we would like you to own

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and persuasive copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns, advertisements, product descriptions and more.
  • Brand Messaging: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all communication channels.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audience preferences and competitors' strategies to create relevant and impactful content.
  • Copy Editing and Proofreading: Review and revise content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, spelling and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team to develop cohesive and effective campaigns.
  • Creative Conceptualisation: Generate innovative ideas and concepts for marketing campaigns and collaborate with the creative team to bring them to life.
  • SEO Optimisation: Incorporate appropriate keywords and optimise copy for search engine visibility and ranking.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all copy is error-free, factually accurate, compliant with legal requirements and aligned with the organisation's values and objectives.
  • Stay Up-to-date: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in copywriting and digital marketing.
  • Team Player: Engage and collaborate with team members to manage client expectations on time and within budget.
  • Social Media: Be an advocate for our key clients and ResourceiT, demonstrating regular engagement on LinkedIn and other relevant social media platforms.
