If you’ve worked with ResourceiT over the past few years, there’s a good chance you’ve been on a call with Tori Tracey. She’s the person who can turn even the vaguest client ambition into a structured, targeted and high-performing marketing campaign, and she does it with speed, strategy and a characteristic burst of energy.
We sat down with Tori to find out what really drives her, what she’s learned from life on both sides of the channel, and why her favourite motto comes straight from a Disney film…
So, Tori, what’s your real job at ResourceiT, beyond the job title?
Speaking to clients, taking their goals and shaping them into structured marketing campaigns that actually drive results. That’s the heart of it.
Simple. Strategic. Results-focused. Very Tori.
What does great client service look like to you?
For me, it’s brilliant comms that are clear, not confusing, fast and responsive, and always the right level of detail. It’s also about being flexible and agile enough to pivot when needed. And above all, being a trusted advisor: making recommendations we can back up with facts and experience.
If you’ve ever been on a project with Tori, you’ll know she lives this.
How do you personally measure success?
My measure is simple: does the client like us, and do they want to work with us again?
Nothing says impact like repeat business.
Proudest client or team moment so far?
Tori hates this question (“Urghhh!”), but we got an answer out of her.
Working for a global UC and AV brand targeting Facilities Managers with upgrade solutions. I crafted the plan, it was super persona-led, and we produced all the content. The client ran the campaign and achieved nearly 700 leads with a 1.70% CTR.
That’s the kind of measurable success she’s known for.
Brand-side vs agency-side, what’s the biggest difference?
Agency life is so much more varied and fast-paced. The juggle is real!
And she thrives on it.
What’s one thing vendors or partners often get wrong about marketing in the channel?
If nobody knows or trusts your brand, you won’t get leads. Time, intent data and warming the audience are critical. But people often expect instant results from a cold audience, and that’s just not how successful lead gen works.
A truth every channel marketer should have framed on their wall.
What makes ResourceiT different from other agencies?
As an independent agency, there’s less red tape. We can move fast. And because all we do is tech marketing, the team hits the mark first time. I’m constantly impressed by how quickly we turn around content and creative, at a genuinely high standard. Oh… and our LinkedIn demand gen performance? Way above industry benchmarks.
She’s not wrong.
What part of your role gives you the biggest buzz?
I love speaking to clients, questioning briefs and shaping proposals. It’s that moment where you think, Yes, we’ve captured exactly what they need, and then build it into a campaign plan.
If strategy had a hype-woman, it would be Tori.
Describe a brilliant day at work.
A great client meeting, writing a proposal straight after, and sending it before close of play.
Efficiency level: elite.
What habit helps you stay on top of everything?
Campaigns are big and complex, so I move quickly and make fast decisions, maybe to a fault! I try to turn the dial on everything every day. I look for the next blocker and fix it to keep the pace up. And, as cheesy as this sounds, I always remember the Frozen quote: ‘Do the next right thing.’ It helps me keep things moving.
We think the Frozen philosophy should be part of the onboarding pack.
How do you properly switch off?
As I’m 110 miles an hour at work, I have to completely switch off to recover. I need peace, quiet, fresh air and ‘tree time’ to recharge. God, I sound old.
We call it healthy balance.
What excites you about what’s next for ResourceiT?
We have a new Creative Director who is so inspiring. I’m really looking forward to working with him on creative pitches and projects in 2026!
The future looks bright, and very creative.
Tori brings passion, pace and personality to every project she touches. Whether she’s crafting campaign strategy, pushing creative thinking, or championing brilliant client experience, she’s a huge part of what makes ResourceiT, ResourceiT.
And if you ever need guidance on what to do next? Just ask yourself: What would Tori do? (Answer: the next right thing.)
